kitchen delights

I attempted my first peach cobbler last week in an effort to be a friendly neighbor. I bought a mix in the produce section at Publix, added fresh peaches, milk, and butter and viola. I must say it made the taste buds dance. My next attempt will be from scratch.



In addition to the cobbler I decided to be the best wife in the world and make some guac for the hub. He loves him some avocado. All it requires is some fresh cilantro, tomato, onion, avacado, and some lime juice. Yummy. We had it with low fat ruffles. We gobbled it up with some Arrested Development.

I have been collecting odds and ends at garage sales and craft stores. Organizing these goodies has been a bit of a challenge. I'm trying to get creative:)

So John and I just got back from our 1st trip out west. Family weddings make for a great excuse to travel to new places. Here are a few of the treats we came home with.
